PowerZone has added Yue Liu as an intern to work with the Allegro club teams and also in the office.

Liu, now a senior at Temple University, where she played the last four years, will assist in training several of the Allegro travel teams and also be a head coach in the local program.

Born in China, she was an outside hitter for Temple University, helping the team to a 16-20 record. She was one of only 2 seniors on this year's team, and posted 414 kills, 298 digs, and 81 blocks. In 2006, she had 402 kills. Liu has garnered numerous awards in her four years at Temple, including 2004 Rookie of the Year. She was also named to several All-Tournament teams at tournaments that Temple participated in.

Liu was recruited to Temple, where she majors in Asian Studies and Kinesiology, after Temple had played her Chinese Army team on a trip to China. She was on China's junior national team, and also had been on the Army team since 2000 before joining Temple in 2004. She played in the Junior International Championships in Canada in 1999.
